situated 3 km from the centre of Kos town. The studios & apartments
are just a 20 minute walk from Kos town, and 300 metres from the 
nearest beach. Nearby is the Kos Marina, a frequent bus service, and

  Kos Shopping                 SHOPPING  IN  KOS  ISLAND  
     
     Kos has a remarkable commercial centre offering a good selection of souvenir, clothes  
     shops, jewellery shops, mini-markets, bakeries and butchers.  
     
     You will find a great variety of leather goods from hand made sandals, bags, belts, wallets  
     and purses. You will also find a wide selection of hand and machine made lace and rugs  
     as well as a large number of Greek ceramics, usually made from red and white clay  
     decorated by hand.  
     
     Shops tend to open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 09:00 until 13:30, then  
     close for a siesta and re-open from 17:00 until 21:00.  
     
     On a Wednesday and Saturday the shops in Kos open from 09:00 until 14:00 and do not  
     re-open after the siesta. Most shops are closed on Sundays.  
     
     However the opening hours are at the discretion of the owner and in the high season, you  
     will find many shops open from 09:00 until 23:00.  
     
     Major credit cards are accepted in the larger shops, however you may have to pay a small  
     bank charge on top of your purchase.
